Xiaoyu Cheng

I have been a Ph.D. student in the School of Cyber Science and Engineering at Southeast University since 2023, where I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Fei Tong. Currently, I am also a visiting Ph.D. student at the National University of Singapore (NUS), co-supervised by Prof. Trevor E. Carlson.

My research focuses on processor microarchitecture security, particularly on hardware defense mechanisms against speculative execution vulnerabilities and side-channel attacks. I am interested in exploring efficient and practical microarchitectural solutions that enhance both system security and performance.
